Heber-Overgaard Community Events

Each year the Chamber of Commerce sponsors several special events, including the annual 4th of July, Oktoberfest and Winterfest  celebrations.
Below is the current calander of Events.

2012 Calendar of Events:

July 7th and 8th, Annual Fourth of July Celebration  Parade and Fireworks on the 7th. Iinformation and Vendor / Participant applications will be available for download soon!  Public Service Anouncement to our Visiting Pets and their Owners.

September 15 and 16th, Oktoberfest Iinformation and Vendor / Participant applications will be available for download soon!

October 27th, Trunk or Treat - Iinformation and Vendor / Participant applications will be available for download soon!

November 24th,  Winterfest - Iinformation and Vendor / Participant applications will be available for download soon!

December (all month long),  Christmas Lighting Contest and Christmas Boutique - exact dates to be determined.

The Navajo County Sheriff's Office is always looking for Auxiliary Volunteers to serve the entire White Mountain area.

February 23rd - Business Mixer at the Rim Country Senior Center, 7am breakfast ($5 cash) with a business meeting starting at 7:30am.

February 25th. at the Heber/Overgaard Chamber Office from 10am - 2pm - Forest Service Employee Debbie will share information on animals, trails, hikes, and areas of interest in our Heber/Overgaard area.  Another birthday cake and drinks.

March 7th - at the Senior Center from 7am – 8am. - The Overgaard Ponderosa Lions Club invites the public to attend our meeting.

March 21st – at the Senior Center from 7am – 8am.  - The Overgaard Ponderosa Lions Club hosts a public meeting.  Please bring your questions for our guest speakers: David Tenney - District 4 Navajo County Board of Supervisors, Jimmy Jayne - County Manager, James Menlove - County Finance Director, Homero Vela - Public Works Director and Interm Assistant County Manager and Hunter Moore - County Government Relations Administrator.

March 29th - Mixer at the Rim Country Senior Center, 7am breakfast ($5 cash) with a business meeting starting at 7:30am.

April 7th – The annual Easter Egg Hunt at Tall Timbers County Park sponsored by the Overgaard Ponderosa Lions Club. Flyers will be posted at the Heber and Overgaard Post Offices two weeks prior to event advising start time of the Easter Egg Hunt.

April 26th - Mixer at the Rim Country Senior Center, 7am breakfast ($5 cash) with a business meeting starting at 7:30am.

April 28th - Pancake Breakfast at the Overgaard Fire Station from 7am - 11am. sponsored by the Overgaard Ponderosa Lions Club. Proceeds to benefit the Heber/Overgaard community.

May 16th -  at the Senior Center from 7am – 8am. The Overgaard Ponderosa Lions Club hosts guest speaker Ann Roberts for a discussion on Public Relations.

May 24th - Mixer at the Rim Country Senior Center, 7am breakfast ($5 cash) with a business meeting starting at 7:30am.

May 26th - The semi-annual Lions Club Casino Night at the Wild Women Salon. Join us for a fun filled evening.  Advance tickets available starting May 1st at the Wild Women Salon. Flyers will be posted throughout community May 1st with more details.

June 1st and 2nd - Faith Lutheran Church will be holding a Rummage Sale from 8am to 3pm on Friday the1st, and 8am to 1pm on Saturday the 2nd. - 2750 Mogollon Drive, Overgaard.

June 9th - The annual Lions Club Golf Tournament at Pine Meadows Country Club.  Flyers will be posted throughout community.

June 28th - Mixer at the Rim Country Senior Center, 7am breakfast ($5 cash) with a business meeting starting at 7:30am.

July 26th - Mixer at the Rim Country Senior Center, 7am breakfast ($5 cash) with a business meeting starting at 7:30am.

August 23rd - Mixer at the Rim Country Senior Center, 7am breakfast ($5 cash) with a business meeting starting at 7:30am.

September 27th - Mixer at the Rim Country Senior Center, 7am breakfast ($5 cash) with a business meeting starting at 7:30am.

October 25th - Mixer at the Rim Country Senior Center, 7am breakfast ($5 cash) with a business meeting starting at 7:30am.

November 29th - Mixer at the Rim Country Senior Center, 7am breakfast ($5 cash) with a business meeting starting at 7:30am.

December 27th - Mixer at the Rim Country Senior Center, 7am breakfast ($5 cash) with a business meeting starting at 7:30am.
